Dojo Location: McGuire Middle School Cafeteria - 21220 Holyoke Ave, Lakeville, MN 55044 

Welcome to Shotokan Karate of Lakeville (SKOL). We have been instructing martial arts in Lakeville, MN for over 35 years and operate through the Lakeville Community Education System and utilize large school spaces for weekly training. Shotokan Karate is a traditional martial art which originated in Japan and is practiced all across the world. We are a part of the United Karate Associations International (UKAI), an internationally recognized organization of dojo's and karate practitioners. Opportunities for tournaments and additional trainings are available throughout the year. Sessions begin in the Fall, Winter, and Summer with evaluations for rank advancement being held during normal class times at the end of each session.

Class Training Times

Introductory (White belts)

  • Tuesday & Thursday from 6:00pm to 6:30pm

  • Youth (minimum age 7) and Adult

Beginner & Intermediate (White Yellow Stripe - Purple White Stripe belts)

  • Tuesday & Thursday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

  • Youth and Adult

Advanced (Purple - Black belts)

  • Tuesday & Thursday from 7:30pm to 8:30pm

  • Youth and adult

Family discount is available for families of three or more! Please call Lakeville Community Education at 952-232-2170 for details. Family discount prices are currently not available on the community website, you must call the number above to have the discount applied.
